Apply for New Service
Welcome to the area! We are pleased to be your utility provider. You can stop by our office at 1407 Flora Ave between 7:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:00 am to 11 am on Friday to complete a service application or, if you prefer, you can download the application and bring the completed form with you. We will also need a copy of your drivers’ license when you apply for new service.
Change Mailing Address
Occasionally, we know that our customers will want their utility bill sent to an address that is different than their service address. This can be done by calling our office at 920-487-5556 or by completing the Change of Address form.
If you are currently a Algoma Utilities' residential customer and you are moving to another address within our service area, you may transfer your service by calling our office at 920-487-5556 or by completing the Transfer Service form.
If you are moving out of the Algoma Utilities area and need to close your account with us, please call us at 920-487-5556 to let us know your anticipated termination date. You can also complete the Request to Discontinue Service form.
Report Street Light Outage
We appreciate your assistance in making Algoma a safer place for pedestrians, traffic and the community.
If you see a city street light out, please submit the Street Light Outage form. Algoma Utilities will take the appropriate action to make sure the light is replaced in a reasonable amount of time.
Critical Needs Form
The Algoma Utilities maintains a “Critical Needs” customer list. During the summer months, there is an increased probability that utility system emergency conditions could develop. Algoma Utilities, together with our electric power supplier, WPPI Energy, continuously monitor all conditions. We will make every effort to avoid interrupting your service. However, emergency conditions beyond our control could result in your power being interrupted. Please complete the Critical Needs Information and Form if special circumstances exist in your home or business that make the loss of electricity or water critical.
Customer Consent Form
The Customer Consent Form can be used to authorize the utility to disclose your utility account information to anyone you indicate on the form. If you have questions on the form, please contact us at 920-487-5556.
